This coffee comes from brothers Julian (21) and Bayron (23) who are 5th generation coffee farmers and who recently took over their family's farm. La Joya is located in the Tarrazu region of Costa Rica which produces some of the best coffees year after year. This specific lot is a Natural Processed coffee, where the coffee cherry is fully intact and then left to dry on the drying patios. Cupping notes from this Natural processed coffee are a delicate body with Spiced lemon and black tea notes throughout. This coffee is locally sourced and roasted in Baltimore.
