This coffee comes from Muburi in the Kirinyaga County of Kenya where 2,800 small holder farmers live and grow coffee. The coffee cherries are delivered to the wet mill the same day they are picked and sorted from ripe and underripe cherries for quality control. This lot is wet processed (washed), and laid on raised drying beds before going to the dry mill for secondary drying. This Kenyan coffee offers a unique and complex cup with traditional Kenya savoriness with honey sweetness, cocoa, and spiced notes.This coffee is locally sourced and roasted in Baltimore.
