This coffee comes from Israel Degfa's coffee mill in Sidama, Ethiopia. The mill is a mix of roughly 2500 farmers in the region where the coffee is sorted, sized, and separated based on quality. This lot is Grade 1 coffee from Heirloom variety coffee trees native to the region. This is a washed or wet processed coffee, where the coffee cherry is striped and the beans are left to dry on patios and drying beds. This Ardi washed coffee offers subtile peach and bright acidic notes, a sweet cup, and creamy vanilla finish. This coffee is locally sourced and roasted in Baltimore.
